Wow - news from the Results Service, only one week behind now....

31st October – HSBC 2nd XV - 18; RBSRFC – 15Tries: S Kennedy (2), Conversion & Penalty to M PhillipsAnother week and unfortunately another defeat, but this was a game that we could/should have won. As has been the norm this season we had to field a scratch team with only 15 players to choose from, due to two late withdrawals and one no-show, and with a few people playing out of position. We started strongly taking the ball to them and an early penalty gave us field position. Moments later a…See More

WELCOME AND THANKS FOR AVOIDING US COLLAPSING TO 14 PLAYERS ON THE PITCH; GOSH I'M NOT SURE THIS 40SOMETHING YEAR OLD SHOULD ATTEMPT 80 MINS ON THE FLANK AGAINST A GOOD ATTACKING SIDE LIKE THAT; MY RUNNING MUSCLES ARE STILL GIVING ME A LOT OF…

Want to play?

The team plays and trains in Beckenham. It's called RBS but it's not limited to RBS employees.

If you're an ex player and not ready to hang up your boots yet or a current player working in London or Kent, don't be put off by the faces below, we're a lot nicer in the flesh. Come along. You will get a warm welcome.

We train on Tuesdays, play Saturdays.

The coming Season

So my first season as coach is history and I would like to thank people for their help over the course of a season.

1st Richard, A big thank you for introducing me to the club and giving me a well drilled fit team to hit the ground running with. Also your behind the scenes work

26th March 2010 RBS RFC 9 Greenwich RFC 19 Three Penalties (Scored by Jerry O'Sullivan)

On a different day we would have won this match, which could be the bye line for this season. After some desperate calling around and a heroic dash from the ski slopes from the skipper we started the team with a full compliment of players and one sub. It was obvious from the first scrum that we would dominate that set piece however from the first…

Well done guys

Well done fixture sec for managing to enable us to play when so many games will have been called off this weekend

Well done squad for turning up in sufficient numbers we could play the game

Well done everyone for adjusting to the differences of grass to which we are accustomed and all-weather-designed-for-rugby on which we played and for battling increasingly hard as the game went on
